If a bike needs more serious work, we just take it back to the workshop, then deliver it back to you when it's all fixed up. The extracting threads on the cranks were stripped on this bike so it needed some more...pursuasive tools.

I was lucky to come accross this and even luckier for it to be returned after being stolen! It's an Italian frame by Viner (they actually still make bikes) with original Shimano 600 components from the early-mid 80's. It's a snappy ride thanks to compact geometry, track bars and classic gum wall tubular tires. I might have to change that aweful saddle, maybe a Selle Italia Turbo?

These big cargo boxes are made for hauling with the Yuba Mundo. Custom designed and built by Nomad Cyclery, each bike now boasts 145 liters of storage. The bikes are to be used for Good Cycles, a social enterprise aiming to provide training and jobs in bicycle mechanics for people who are experiencing long term unemployment or disadvantage.

This special wheel build includes Ghisallo wooden rims from Italy, Velo Orange rear hub and a Sturmey Archer front dyno hub. They are beautiful wheels that will give a very smooth ride. The rims do have a hidden touch of modernity, a carbon fiber layer on the inside to allow higher tyre pressures!

A fixed gear bike build. The subtle graphics by artist Adi Gilbert on this clean black frame incite images of a revolution. I wanted to make an understated simple bike with quality parts and ended up really enjoying the build. It all came together nicely and is a snappy ride thanks to compact geometry. Consists of: Kinesis frame, custom built wheels with H Plus Son rims on Miche hubs, Selle San Marco saddle, Nitto handlebars, Miche cranks, MKS pedals, Campagnolo brake with Tektro lever, and Moet Chandon champagne cork bar end plugs. 

I'm sure we have all had close call with people opening car doors, possibly even a crash! There have been some tragic cases of dooring in Melbourne, and it's up to all of us to reduce the risk. Also I will be giving out these cool little mirror stickers to every customer.
